Our box truck visits local motels, campgrounds, and other homeless areas to take food to those who have no transportation. During the winter months, we supply coats, blankets, and food to those living on the streets. We also work closely with RCS to deliver food and clothing to those students who make mention of hunger while at school. If you need food and have no transportation, please call the church at 615-459-2533
We keep a current stock of frozen meats, canned vegetables, cereals, beverages, snacks and sweets as well as baby formula. We remain on-call for any individual who needs assistance, and provide them with needed food. We are leading our community in the fight against hunger. We also have emergency food boxes
(Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
We know that holidays can be tough on families and we are here to provide assistance to those in need. We give out dinners, toys, coats, gift baskets, during our Holiday Outreach. You can register for the above four weeks before a major holiday at www.RiverofLifeGives.com or by calling the Church office at (615) 459-2533.
We are currently battling hunger in our schools by working with ATLAS of Rutherford County, providing 200+ children and teens with weekend food through the Backpack Program. Our vision is that no child goes to bed hungry and that no parents has to watch their child cry over hunger pains.
Today's Kids is a program launching in March where we will offer free lessons for low income families. Every class is 6 weeks and at the end of the 6 weeks, the children will showcase their work for their families and our community.
We believe that this generation needs sown into like never before and we want to equip the children with what they need to pursue their passions. Money should not hold a child back from becoming what they want to be.
